INDIANAPOLIS (November 30, 2023) – Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber, leading heating, cooling and plumbing companies in Indianapolis, are proud to announce they are providing a complimentary water heater to a community volunteer who lives and volunteers in the area.
Since 2021, MAX Service Group, the organization that operates Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber as well as other Midwest heating, air conditioning, and plumbing companies, has recognized local community leaders and provided them with a free water heater.
This year’s Indianapolis winner is Amber Lance. Lance is a tireless advocate for kids. She is the PTO president at one of her children’s schools. There you will find her volunteering every week in different capacities despite the demands of having three children and two part-time jobs. She is also the president of the Fishers Mudsocks Cheer program for youth and is the commissioner of the Football Mudsocks Board. She holds both positions based on her love of kids and sports even though her own children are not active in either program.
“As an organization, we foster a culture that encourages community engagement,” said Greg Wells, President of Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber. “We want to honor those within our service areas who both have a passion for community engagement, and act on it. That’s why we are proud to continue our tradition of giving with something I hope shows these community leaders that their work does not go unrecognized or unappreciated.”
Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber’s community volunteer water heater giveaway is part of the MAX Gives campaign that focuses on charitable community contributions. Other initiatives have included HVAC giveaways to local educations and families in need, water heater giveaways to first responders, monthly donations to various charities, scholarships to deserving high school seniors and holiday donations to families.
